Purpose

NHPO Houston Chapter is proud to announce the creation of the NHPO Youth Leadership Group. This program is designed to give students an opportunity to become leaders in their community at an early age, learn how to run meetings and distribute tasks, organize events, work as a team, earn community service hours, improve communication skills, resolve conflicts, build self-confidence, and much more! NHPO is creating an opportunity for parents and their children to become involved in community activities together to help out their community while strengthening their family bond. In addition, the mentorship of the Youth Leadership Group by the NHPO Houston Chapter provides youths an opportunity to interact with Hispanic Professional role models.
